Public assistance is often necessary to access the level of care an individual may need. We understand the importance of these services for the people we serve. Specialist's have a working knowledge of many of the county and public services provided by a variety of organizations. It's this access to local services that allow many people experiencing hardship to live independently within their community.
The CADI/BI waiver provides funding for individuals who have difficulty overcoming obstacles due to the severity of their disability. The waivers are usually overseen by waiver case managers that assess the needs of their consumers. This is a consumer driven program and each individual has the ability to address their specific concerns. There are many services which the consumer may take advantage of to increase their independence in their home and community. Independent Living Skills is one of those dedicated services.
